Farmhouse Addition and Remodel

This project began with the family’s purchase of a modest home with a lot of potential, located in a historic, desirable community in Pasadena. The design transformed the home to focus first

and foremost upon the tight-knit family’s free-flowing lifestyle, making sure the architecture would enrich their lives together and in connection with the outdoors. Though we only added 360 square feet, the smart remodeling of the existing layout created additional bedroom and bathroom spaces, and an overall feeling of spaciousness and connectedness. Additionally, the design incorporated new office and mudroom spaces, to help keep clutter in the main living spaces to a minimum.
