Carmona Apartments

The Carmona Apartments is a 3,200 square foot new construction 4-unit apartment building in Los Angeles, built as an owner-occupied complex. Sato Architects provided initial feasibility studies to help the owner decide on the two-story, 4-unit program for the site. After settling the program, we provided two design options in order to fulfill the owner’s desire for a “modern building with pitched roofs”.  The building consists of two 2-bed, 2-bath units, and two 1-bed, 1-bath units, one of which is an accessible unit on the ground floor.
