Spanish-Style Garage Conversion

This project took an existing 2-car garage in Culver City, and converted it to a studio ADU meant to be used as a home office, guest quarters, and outdoor entertainment space for gatherings.  The garage door was replaced with a folding door system to maximize the indoor-outdoor flow of the space, and doors and windows were placed to provide privacy to the neighbors and maximize connection to the two yard areas.  The project relied upon built-ins like a murphy bed in order to allow the space to function flexibly.
